Overview
The Cisco Vision is a highly scalable, secure network designed specifically for sports and entertainment venues to bring together all forms of access, communications, entertainment and operations onto a single innovative platform.
Problem Statement
Creating a Unified Experience for “any glass” (TV, Tablets & Mobile devices) re-defining the Fan Experience. Users had to manage thousands of devices across multiple locations. Creating & Scheduling content was a tedious task with multiple steps.
Solution
A cloud based application optimized for mobile devices. Re-designed the entire experience from scratch based on User feedback easing their pain points. Monitoring devices was made very visual through a dashboard, scheduling is simple & easy.

Device Monitor
Traditionally, Event Managers had to navigate multiple levels of tabs to manage and monitor devices at various locations. They had to decipher large amounts of tabular data across multiple tabs to understand the status of the system. This approach was too tedious and as a result our Users - Event and Marketing Managers struggled with the legacy system. Pages looked like below

Re-design
The Next Gen Cisco Vision aimed to solve this problem by creating a consolidated view of the devices through Visual Monitoring. We made it very visual, location based where the admins can drill into any particular site or zone and get a holistic view of devices and their status. This helped them pinpoint the devices that had issues and trouble shoot quickly.
Scheduling
Scheduling content in the legacy system involved multiple steps adding devices and mapping content to them. Users had to traverse through various screens and there was no consolidated view for Marketing managers to monitor content playing on devices.

Re-Design
The solution was a simple, clean, and visually driven experience. Users could schedule content using a timeline which gave them context and mapped the devices to the content in a single screen.
